We're thrilled to announce that we're taking part in Shitbox Rally 2026 Autumn, starting 1st May 2026!
We’ll be hitting the road in our 65 year old Rover P5 Shitbox, driving approx. 3,000km from Port Douglas to Melbourne via the inland route with around 60% of the trip being on unsealed roads. It promises to be an unforgettable 7-day adventure, and what could possibly go wrong?
This is not just about the drive—it’s about making a real difference in the fight against cancer.
Shitbox Rally is the largest community lead fundraiser for Cancer Council in Australia and is now in its 15th year. Part of the participation requirements is that all teams must raise a minimum of $5,000.The Autumn 2026 rally target is set at $2,000,000, with a total of over $60,000,000 having been raised since the rally’s inception in 2010.100% of all donations go directly to Cancer Council and we are extremely proud to be doing our part to support such a worthy charity.

Shitbox Rally is a 7-day challenge like no other. Participants drive cars worth no more than $1,500 through some of Australia's most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It's not a race — it's a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.
Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that's all part of the fun.
The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way.
And when the day's drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day's achievements.
This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways — whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we'll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.
